Speaker: David Peter Hansen

Registration URL: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2255494534688611842

You have worked with SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) for a few years, but more often than not, you see performance problems with your packages. Some packages are running slow, while others are taking up more memory and CPU than before. In this session, you will learn the internals of SSIS and why having a deep understanding is important to solve performance problems. You will also learn how the control flow engine and data flow engine work, what the impact on performance buffers have, and how execution trees are related to parallelism.

BI in the sky (with diamonds)

Speaker: Johan Ludvig

Registration URL: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/620040259754165249

Microsoft is really delivering up on it's "Cloud first" mantra with rapid releases of new functionality to it's PowerBI portifolio, functionality that won't arrive on-premise until next Office release - if ever. So you, or your manager has decided to give PowerBI a go. But the budget for this is a bit tight, and maybe you're not allowed to use the existing server. Azure is ready for you. But what Azure service do you choose, and how do you let PowerBI and Azure play nicely together? That's what this webinar is here to tell you.

Johan Ludvig
Johan Ludvig is a business intelligence consultant who has been working with SQL Server since 2000. He mainly works with T-SQL, reporting and visualization. Johan Ludvig is a certified QlikView developer but is just as happy diving into PowerBI, R and all other sorts of technologies he can get his grubby little hands on.
